Name: Ruby Williams

Appearance: Dark brown hair that reaches just past her shoulders and upper back, pale skin and violet eyes. Slenderly built, and average height. She wears a set of brown robes. (Think Skyrim Novice robes.)

Class: Ice/Death

History: During her childhood, Ruby lived on a farm in the north of Illya, near the city of Carac, with her mother and father. When she turned six, she began to show signs of magical ability. Her parents, not wanting to lose her, did not send her to a school. When she turned twelve, the Council sent the White Flame for her. When they resisted, they murdered them. Believing that the young girl would pose no threat, they tried to drag her out. Ruby froze the captain solid, and impaled the others on spikes of ice. When the second group came two days later, she went peacefully.
At the school, Ruby chooses not go to most classes, instead choosing to study alone. Many of the students avoid contact with her after an incident where she froze another student.

History: Acelin comes from a rich family in the White city and is the last heir to her family's sake after losing her older brother in a accident. She grew up with alot of pressure on her, but received loved and a great education from her family. Her parents cared for her greatly while she grew up and were filled with grief when learning she was a mage and must attend a school. Acelin helped assure them she would be alright and would stay in contact before leaving.

Class: Fire / Death

History: Living in the slums of a city nearest to Illya, Varian went through life thieving from anyone he could to survive as the seasons continued to change against his favour. He was always on his feet so he was never caught in the acts. Eventually he was caught by an old noble man who had no heir to his legacy and befriended him, eventually taking him in as his own. As the child grew older he began to show great magical potential and so the old noble enrolled him in Illya to allow him to harness that power and to be wise enough to inherit his legacy and live among the nobles as an equal.

Appearance: Medium Length snow white hair and ice blue eyes, and fair skinned. Slightly stocky build and a bit taller than average height. Wears a set of grey black robes and brown boots.

Class: Ice/ Energy

History: Born into a slightly successful family in near the boundaries of the city of Highever, Nathan was never really aware of his abilities till about the age of 10. He was cared for by his parents, who thought very highly of him from a very young age. At the age of ten, he learned he had magical abilities by pure accident, learning from his parents that he was a mage. Afterwards, they sent him off to a school to help him with his abilities. He can be outgoing at times, but not enough to bother his familiar.
