Nightfall: Chapter 3

=i hoist her up and start heading back to the "rooms"=
Only if you give me one after I do yours.

"Sounds good." She said.

=i carry her off to my room and kneel down next to my bed=
Your massage table, princess.

Tria giggled, throwing her coat off and lying down.
"You're too good to me..."

=i sit down next to her and start rubbing her back=
Maybe, or maybe I'm just buttering you up before I hit you with the hard chores and menial labor.

=i chuckle and work my knuckles into her back=

"You wouldn't" Tria said, groaning as Veni worked her stiffness out. "I need to ask for these more often..." She mused aloud.

Try me kiddo.

=i lean into it more, working my knuckles up and down your back=
And this is a special treat, so don't expect this too much. Not unless you're willing to give me a massage every time as well.

I started getting changed, taking off the clothes which Seln had given me, folding them up before starting to get into my own clothes.

=i decided to try and spin the knife from one hand to the other, as in, don't use an aerial. I lined my hands up for a zen rollover, and went for it, but the knife just slipped away. I caught it before it hit the ground and tried again=

How's that going for ya there, kiddo.

This city smelt. And not like "Oh all that gas and smoke pe-yew", no no it was far worse. It was as if the sewers had spewed up over the streets, and coated the walking zombified husks of humans that roamed these empty lifeless streets. Then I remember it was my clothes that smelt.
"Guh." I choked a little just looking at them.

I walked through the long empty streets, and let out a heavy sigh as I scratched me head. I ducked down into a long alley and sat down in the corner, thinking, before I noticed someone standing around a corner not too far into the alley, eyeing me through his dark sunglasses. And judging by the poorly hidden knives on him, my safe bet was Nightbane. I muttered, smiling.
"Dipshit." Standing up, I turned around and walked down a further alley, which led towards some apartments. I ducked down instantly behind a large piles of trash and hid next too a bum, using him as a sort of blending method.

The Nightbane walked past and only when it was too late did he notice me. I sprang up and with a deafening crack hit him in the neck with my fist, splitting it from his spine. The Nightbane fell with a thud, as the bum looked from me to him, and grumbled some unintelligible nonsense before returning to his sleep.
"No Nightbane goes down that easily. Musta been a rookie looking for some rep." I removed the kids glasses and, as I expected, saw two young, bright blue eyes, set in his smooth untouched skin. "You could have been a model with a face like this..." I looked him over, and raised my brow a little. "Nice clothes..."

Tria groaned. "Giving you a massage in return is worth it." She said.

Her back was an insane mess of knots and stiffness.

=i smile and rub up and down her back=
You really are stiff. What'd you do, lay down on a board?

"Try a roof. Took a nap as I waited for Dawn to return to the Vamp's apartment."

You were spying on your sister, weren't you.

=i push down harder on her back to really work out the knots=

Tria sighed. "Yeah...I worry about her. Same as she worries about me."

I finished getting changed, looking better than I did before. I picked up my bag, as well as the clothes Seln had given me, and walked out of the bathroom, heading back into the bedroom.

She's a big girl, I'm sure she can handle anything.

=i look up as I hear Alex=
All set?

Dawn looked up at Alode, then got up off the bed.

"Yep."

I put my bag down by the bed, as well as the folded up clothes.

Dawn sighed softly.
Should I ask her out now, or wait? What if someone else gets to her in that time?

I hate this...

Well...this should be interesting...

=I then readjust my jacket, making sure my arsenal was hidden=

=i flip the knife closed and put it away=
Well, we should get going then, no point putting this off.

"I guess so."

I stretch slightly.

"And before we start... When we get there, could you... Sort of... Well, not be seen I guess? I think it would be easier to explain."

Dawn clasps her arms behind her back in a strangely child-like gesture.
"Does that include me?"

Of course. We can stick to the shadows.

=I look to Seln=

That's if we don't need to use plan B, of course.
